Are you a good person?! / Bist du eine gute Person?!

To be honest strictly-taken this is not a question for a newborn Christian!!

Here are some thoughts about that....
Ok, of course we have the 10 commandments – and these are the sins of commission. Don't lie, don't steal, don't commit adultery….and all the others. And don’t get me wrong it is good not to do these things, of course.But there is another sort, another kind of sin – the sins of omission. The sins of omission are when God calls you to do something and you don't do it. When people don't believe in themselves and they live an emptiness, meaningless live and they think it's because of God. For sure nobody is perfect, we all know that, including myself. And no problem will disappear just because why we are Christians. We will look at it with other eyes. And I have experiences – joys and struggles – throughout my whole life that I’m convinced that I’m a good person in God’s eyes. For all of our mistakes Jesus Christ died on the Cross and so we have everlasting life with God in paradise. That’s why one of my favorite bible verses is John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son that whoever believes in me shall not punish but will have everlasting life.” I trust in God and I believe in Him with all my heart and He believes in me, He loves me and He takes care of me because I’m a child of God – I’m His child. We all are a part of His family, actually.

So with all that in my opinion the question “Are you a good person?” is a wrong question. The right question for me is “Did you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior?” If you can answer that question for yourself with Yes then you are saved. The Holy Spirit will fills you. That is the most important thing we can hear – and that is all what counts….for me.

Um ehrlich zu sein stellt sich diese Frage für einen wiedergeborenen Christen nicht!

Hier ein paar Gedanken dazu....
Ok, wir haben die 10 Gebote – Du sollst nicht lügen, Nicht stehlen, Nicht ehebrechen….und all die Anderen, die wir kennen. Und versteht mich nicht falsch es ist gut diese Dinge nicht zu tun.Aber es gibt noch eine andere Art Sünde – die Unterlassungssünden. Unterlassungssünden sind wenn Gott dich beruft etwas zu tun und du es nicht tust. Wenn Menschen nicht an sich selber glauben und sie ein leeres, unerfülltes Leben führen und sie tun es wegen Gott.Ganz sicher niemand ist perfekt, das wissen wir alle – mich eingeschlossen. Aber ich (und ich glaube auch viele von euch hier) habe Erfahrungen gemacht – Freunde und Schmerzen – in meinem ganzen Leben, dass ich davon überzeugt bin ein guter Mensch in Gottes Augen zu sein.Unsere Probleme werden nicht verschwinden, nur weil wir Christen sind. Wir sehen sie aber mit anderen Augen und können ihnen anders begegnen. Für all unsere Fehler ist Jesus Christus am Kreuz gestorben damit wir das ewige Leben mit Gott haben können. Darum ist auch eins meiner Lieblingsverse in der Bibel Johannes 3:16 „Denn also hat Gott die Welt geliebt, dass er seinen eingeborenen Sohn gab, damit alle, die an ihn glauben, nicht verloren werden, sondern das ewige Leben haben.“ Ich vertraue Gott und ich glaube an Ihn mit ganzem Herzen und Er glaubt an mich, Er liebt mich und passt auf mich auf, weil ich ein Kind Gottes bin – Ich bin sein Kind. Wir alle sind ein Teil Seiner Familie.

Mit all dem ist meiner Meinung nach die Frage „Bist du eine gute Person?!“ eine falsche Frage. Die richtige Frage für mich ist „Hast du Jesus Christus als deinen Herrn und Erlöser akzeptiert?“Wenn du die Frage für dich mit Ja beantworten kannst, dann bist du errettet und der Heilige Geist wird dich erfüllen.Das ist das Wichtigste was wir hören können – es ist alles was zählt….für mich.Ich hoffe ihr konntet mir folgen und ich freue mich auf eure Antworten.
